If you want to know what vegans eat and how to adopt a vegan lifestyle, attending a vegan festival is a fantastic (and fun) way to learn. Today I take you along with me to VegFest in Orlando, Florida.
Today I’m going to take you along with me to VegFest in Orlando, Florida. VegFest is an annual festival held in multiple cities all around the US and internationally to promote veganism, vegetarianism, healthy lifestyles, environmentalism, animal rights, and really, really good food. I’d never before attended a VegFest before, always figuring that I’m already vegan so what’s the point?
But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that these festivals are important because they provide an incredibly approachable opportunity to introduce people to veganism. It’s a one-stop-shop to try all kinds of vegan food and learn that a vegan diet is far from restrictive and the opposite of dietary deprivation. And what better way to reach people than through food and fun?
VegFest is a place to learn about various organizations fighting for animal rights, find vegan, cruelty-free products for your everyday life, hear engaging speakers, and even meet some rescued animals. Festivals like this can help bring veganism into the mainstream and can kick-start your journey towards veganism or reignite your journey into vegan activism. so come along with me to VegFest Orlando!
