Recommended Posts for ethical basis for veganism

Emily Moran Barwick, founder of Bite Size Vegan, smiling as she kneels, scratching behind the ears of Ooby, a rescued black sheep. To the left is the text "How Autism Helps Me Connect".

Growing up Autistic, I believe my difficulties with communication strengthened my empathy for animals. It broke my heart that no matter how desperately and clearly they communicated their terror and pain, they were ignored and discounted.

How Autism Connects Me With Animals

A group of cows scattered across a lush green hillside sloping downwards into a vibrant blue ocean, the visual embodiment of idealized animal agriculture and human practices.

Most people are against factory farming—but what about grass-fed, free-range, humane? Nowhere is animal agriculture more idealized than the rolling green landscape of Ireland. Let’s take a close look at the very best we have to offer and see if the ideals live up to their promise.

Why I’m A Vegan Against Animal Welfare

Emily Moran Barwick of Bite Size Vegan is shown being held down on the floor just prior to her being branded with a hot iron.

The Extremism Of Veganism | Exposing The Greatest Lie [Banned Speech]

An extreme close-up of an animal’s eye is shown. In the reflection of its cornea, multiple butchered animals can be seen. They are hanging from hooks by their back legs.

Ever wonder why vegans are so sensitive about things? Or why we seem to overreact so often? As a vegan, I’ve made this video in an attempt to show non-vegans what we see that makes as behave as we do. This is not a judgment and it’s not graphic. It’s simply me sharing what I see

What Vegans See | A Post for Non-Vegans

Medieval knights and fighting men are shown below a castle. Overlaying the image is the text “History of Veganism Part 2”

Were vegan principles and practices shaped by the rise of major world religions during the Middle Ages? Learn about the interplay of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism & secular ethics.

Vegans In The Middle Ages | The History of Veganism Part Two

Emily Moran Barwick of Bite Size Vegan is shown on the left, author and vegan activist Gary Yourofsky on the right. Between the two is a close-up view of a beautiful white cow.

Speciesism is the assumption of human superiority leading to the exploitation of animals. It is the false belief that non-human animals do not have nor deserve the same rights as we humans. It is the oldest form of discrimination on this planet
