This is the first video vlog of my recent move from Florida to Massachusetts. I show you the food I packed for the road, and share some of Ooby the vegan bulldog and my adventures on our trip up the coast!
As you may know, I recently moved from Florida to Massachusetts. Ooby and I packed up everything and drove up the coast in a moving truck, making our way to our new home in the chilly north. And since I’ve had so many requests for some more “informal” “vlogish” videos, I decided to appease my wonderful viewers and readers (that’s you!) with a few videos chronicling our move. In today’s video, I show you what I pack to eat along the way!
Traveling as a vegan can be difficult, so I’d like to show how I do it and provide a more relaxed view into my vegan life. These informal video posts are not the most comfortable for me, as I prefer to feel I’m doing some useful education with my work. However, I do think there is value in showing the everyday aspects of veganism (even though mine will look different than any other vegan.
That’s something I always want to emphasize: you can be vegan in as many ways as you can be non-vegan. You don’t have to change your personality or religion, or any number of things. You simply stop exploiting animals!
So, if my particular brand of veganism doesn’t float your boat, that’s fine! There is a way to be vegan that will work for you. everyone can do it.
Now, rant over (for the time being), I hope you enjoy the adventure with Ooby and me. Check out our journey in the video above!
Have you traveled cross-country before? Do you find moving stressful? If you’re vegan, do you find travel difficult? How do you prepare (whether you’re vegan or not)? Do you pack your own food? Let me know in the comments!
