Want a simple, healthy way to make delicious banana cream pie? I share my super easy recipe with raw vegan and raw till 4 vegan variations. It’s the perfect treat for your holiday meal- and when you make bite size pies, it’s okay to eat the whole thing…or two!
It’s holiday season and you know what that means. It’s time for the celebration of deeply rooted traditions. The bonding of family and friends. The spreading of goodwill towards all. And at the core of it all…presents and food! Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, or any December-based holiday, it’s likely that gift-giving and serious eating factor into the festivities. In my last video post, I got you completely covered on the gift front so be sure to check that out. But for the food frontier, the holidays can be a challenging time for vegans, especially new vegans.
Perhaps you’re with non-vegan family and have a looming Christmas ham centerpiece on your table with an eggnog chaser. Or your family’s Hanukkah brisket and potato latkes are staring you down. or your Kwanzaa plate is loaded down with cheese grits and fish patties.
Going vegan doesn’t mean you have to miss out on any of your traditional delicious holiday eats. You just veganize them. You can celebrate your culture, religion, family, tradition, or whatever it is you hold most dear without having to impose cruelty and death upon other beings–because they too have family and things they hold dear. So this holiday season really spread goodwill towards all- non humans included, by making your celebration a human holiday.
And to show you show you how, I’ve enlisted the help of eight other incredible vegan channels. You all seemed to love our epically ethical Thanksgiving dinner so much that I brought back the team with one new addition (see if you can spot her) and, this time around I’m adding my own recipe into the mix–so prepare yourself–but don’t compare me to these culinary geniuses. I really have no idea what I’m doing.
So without further ado, here’s your holiday recipe roundup!
