By popular demand, here is a tour of my vegan tattoos. I talk a little about each one and the personal significance behind them. Most tattoos have meaning and a story behind them and mine are no different.
By popular demand, here is a tour of my vegan tattoos. I talk a little about each one and the personal significance behind them. Most tattoos have meaning and a story behind them and mine are no different. Some of them are funny, some are serious, and some are a mixture of both.
I also show you the scar from when I was branded with a cattle iron in a performance piece for animal rights. Each tattoo and each scar tell a story of some part of my life. I hope you enjoy the tour and if you have tattoos of your own, I’d love to hear your story!
My branding video
And as I was limited by time, I didn’t really get into tattoos being vegan or not. Tattoos can be vegan, you just have to be selective with the brands of ink you use as well as aftercare products and products used at the time of tattooing. There are more and more all-vegan tattoo shops opening around the country. :)

Emily, you are and amazing human being. Certainly one that exceeds the level of the majority of ignorant meat eating, etc., *%)#!@&%*# persons in desperate need of a positive life change to veganism.
I have seen all your vid’s and they are wonderful and intelligent testaments of true compassion and self awareness. But, you put yourself out there in what most would find a vulnerable position and shared the most intimate, meaningful stages of your life. You are a very beautiful intelligent woman that has, is, will make a difference in this life for animal rights. I feels so humbled when I listen to your videos. And they also crack me up and give me food for thought. I just thought I’d say a word or two. I don’t know what brought on the cutting, but you should know, there are so many people that love you and love what you do. We would be lost without you. You are the yin and Gary is the yang, or is the otherway. Anyway, my wife and I love you and Ooby. You would always be welcome in our home. Thank you for all you do.
Mark thank you so much for for thoughtful words! it means so much to me that you’d take the time to write this :) i do hope that i can make some difference in this world. that’s my main goal in life- to make an impact for the animals. i always feel like it’s not enough and that it’s such a huge battle to fight. but i keep trying and hoping.
and i do hope that maybe me sharing some more intimate aspects of my life will possibly reach some people that they other videos wouldn’t. i want to try whatever methods i can to create change.
thank you again for your words. you are so kind and i’m so grateful to have your support!
